7 Tips for Holiday Happiness
Holidays are time for having fun and enjoying family and friends. Let your creativity expand and only engage in activities that delight and inspire you. Here are some tips that you probably have heard before but are always good to keep in mind during this time of the year.
Changing at the Crossroads of Today
During our lives we travel through many crossroads choosing one path or another. These choices shape our lives, relationships, character, values and health. These choices as much as our heritage determine who and what we become in our lives because although our DNA may regulate eye and hair color, height and ethnicity our heritage doesn’t control our free will. The consequences of our choices often have repercussions for generations.
Choosing Happiness Now
Recently I heard a tale of a person in pain who was chasing healers begging for help and then rejecting the offered healing. She was not ready to release the pain and choose freedom. By focusing on the past and present difficulties and blaming others for the inability to ‘make’ her well, she failed to grasp the opportunity see the happiness, love and beauty offered her.
Bringing In New Energy
In the last article, I addressed the subject of releasing the drama and trauma of the past in order to free ourselves of the burdens of the past.. Until and unless we understand, forgive and let go of the stories that bind us to the mental or emotional unhappiness that control our lives it will continue to play out in our health, relationships, environment and even our DNA. Once we release these traumas and dramas, we can breathe freely the abundance and prosperity the Universe holds in store for us.
Changing the Past; Choosing the Future
I love the book “It’s Never Too Late to Have a Happy Childhood: Inspirations for Inner Healing” by Claudia Black and Laura Zagon. So many people choose to come into lifetimes at this time on Earth with challenging childhoods that seem to hamper their development into the loving, giving and powerful beings we all are meant to be. Simply because our early life was a disaster, doesn’t mean the rest of life has to follow the same pattern. We can change the pattern and choose a future of happiness and love.
Healing and Free Will
It is our nature to be whole, healthy and well. We have built in systems to heal our bodies from injuries and illness. Everyone is born with an immune system to fight off dis-ease. We come with a bacterial array to help our digestive system to eat whatever food is in our environment. Our external skin suit heals wounds when we fall and open up our knees.
Healing Financial Wounds
The economy is picking up. Jobs are getting easier to find. However, many are still unemployed, underemployed or dissatisfied with their jobs and are still struggling to make ends meet. For generations folks have been straining to tap into the abundance and prosperity of the world.
Healing Family Patterns: A Time for Wholeness
The past year was challenging for many of us as a time for releasing old beliefs that held us back from fulfillment of our longings and desires for this lifetime. The last days of 2013 contained a burst of energy to clear out these stale energies. 2014 is a time for manifesting our dreams of wellness, peace, health, wholeness and love internally and in family life. Overcoming obstacles to our happiness and living a passionate life of joy is the goal of this new year.
Why Heal Family Patterns?
We never question whether we desire to heal our body when we have an illness or an injury. We may not know how to find the proper healing method, but we recognize we want our body to function effectively. So why do we resist healing our mental, emotional or spiritual issues?
